BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
At least 3 years’ experience in maintenance or utilities in an FMCG environment
Government Certificate of Competency an advantage
Project management experience an advantage
SAB Engineering Traineeship an advantage
Advanced PC literacy (MS Office, SAP)
Analytical and evaluative skills
Sound interpersonal and communication skills
Articulate with good presentation skills
Strategic and conceptual skills well developed
Accurate, decisiveness and persuasiveness
Good people and leadership skills
Output and Accountabilities
Provide leadership for the utilities’ plant asset care and equipment integrity.
Optimise Utilities plant & equipment reliability to optimally deliver brewery utilities requirements.
Manage and deliver Sustainable Development targets for Water and Energy reduction
Manage Utilities usage reduction
Manage external utilities’ stake holder relationships
Manage SAP system integrity and optimal usage
Maintain safe, healthy and risk free working environment
Manage legal compliance for utilities plant and processes
Manage human resources within the Utilities Department
Optimise process performance
Manage project implementation in the utilities environment.
